Mushroom Appetizer

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Finely Chopped Mushrooms
  • 1/3 Cup Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Tbs. Butter
  • 2 Cups Bisquick
  • 1/2 Cup Butter Softened
  • 1/4 Cup Boiling Water
  • 1 (3 oz.) Package Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese


Preparation

Heat oven to 350' . Grease 13 x 9" pan. Sauté mushrooms and onions in 2 Tbs. butter and Worcestershire Sauce until brown. (May add a little red wine also.) Set aside. Mix Bisquick and 1/2 cup butter in small bowl. Add water. Spread in pan, and top with cream cheese. Spread mushroom mixture on this. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Cuts better when slightly cooled.
