Savory Toasted Pecans

Ingredients & Preparation

    • Melt one stick of salted butter ( you can also use ghee- sometimes we use a truffle ghee or garlic)
    • Stir in 2lbs of pecans
    • I chopped about two packs of rosemary and 2 packs of thyme (good with sage too )
    • Stir in herbs
    • Spread on cookie sheet or two covered in parchment paper
    • Give a good dusting of salt
    • I cook in 325/350 for about 7 min then stir then another 5 or so minutes. Every oven is different so I usually have to taste the first batch at a new place several times. Don’t undercook or they are bitter .
