Lemon Loves

Ingredients

    • 1 Cup Flour
    • 1/2 Cup Butter
    • 2 Tbs Sugar
    • 1 Cup Sugar
    • 5 Tbs Flour
    • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
    • 2 Eggs
    • 3 Tbs Lemon Juice


Frosting

    • 1-1/2 Cups Sifted Confectioners Sugar
    • 1/2 Stick Butter
    • 2-3 Tsp Lemon Juice


Preparation

    • Mix first 3 ingredients. Press into 9 x 9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
    • Sift sugar, flour, and baking powder.
    • Beat eggs with lemon juice. Mix with flour and pour into crust.
    • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and frost with confectioners sugar creamed with butter and enough lemon juice to make a spreading consistency.
