Aunt Annie's Ham Loaf

    • 2 Tbs Butter
    • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
    • Small Can Pineapple Slices

Melt butter in pan with brown sugar. Place 2 pineapple slices in bottom of pan.

Make ham loaf mixture and form into loaf and place on top of pineapple.

For ham loaf, mix together the following:

    • 4 Cups Ground Ham
    • 1/2 lb Ground Pork
    • 1/2 Tsp Dry Mustard
    • 1 Cup Bread Crumbs
    • 2 Eggs - Beaten*
    • 1/2 Cup Pineapple Juice
    • Remaining Slices of Pineapple - Chopped Fine
    • 1 Small Onion - Chopped

Bake for 1 hour in a 350º oven. Turn over onto a platter and serve.

*Hint: Whenever a recipe calls for beaten eggs, add eggs to bowl first and beat them, then proceed with the recipe (then you don't have to clean another bowl!).
