Horseradish Cream Sauce


  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup freshly grated horseradish root (to taste)

  • 1 lemon - juiced

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste


  • Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl. Adjust amount of horseradish to meet your desired taste profile. You can also substitute freshly grated horseradish root for prepared horseradish (~6-7 spoonfulls)
