Smokestack Beans
Ingredients
- 1 lb Bacon - Fried and Minced
- 1 Gallon Beans - Drained
- 2.5 Cups Brown Sugar
- 3 Tbs Minced Onion
- 3 Tbs Chili Powder
- 1 Tbs Dried Mustard
- 3 Tbs Liquid Smoke
- 3 Cups Barbecue Sauce
Preparation
Place all ingredients in large crock-pot and simmer 6-8 hours. Remove lid for the last hour so the beans can thicken. May also be baked in the oven at a very low temp, all day.
